Cape Cache works by commission and installation — from a single anchor sculpture to a coordinated set spanning an entire property. The studio’s defining method produces bespoke variation at scale: each work sits within an open, numbered system — a wind force, a material variant, a panel in a larger school — so that no two pieces are ever identical, while the full set reads unmistakably as one collection. It is the reason hotels, restaurants and architectural clients commission multiples rather than a single work.

Trade, Hospitality & Corporate

The clearest example is The Beaufort Scales, an open taxonomy running 0–12: every disc a different wind force, no two alike, the run legible as a single system. Applied to a property, this becomes a room-by-room or floor-by-floor commission — one force, one material variant, or one panel configuration per space — so a corridor or a full guest wing reads as bespoke throughout without repeating a single piece. The same systemic method runs across Ghost Tales, The Sardine School, and Sagax, so a large order is production the studio already does, not a one-off request.

Each trade or hospitality commission is scoped against the space itself — lead time, consistency across the run, structural and suspension requirements, and installation. Full process documentation is maintained in the studio archive and made available for institutional review before a commitment is made.

Commissions & Site-Specific Work

The studio undertakes site-specific commissions where scale, material, and species are determined by the space — from a single anchor sculpture for a lobby or dining room to a considered collection across a property. Each commission begins with the space itself: its volume, its light, its relationship to the coast.

Architectural Surface & Cladding

For architects, designers and specifiers, the studio provides its wall-scale work — HIVE modular GFRC cladding and Singular bespoke tile — with samples, technical specification, fixing consultation and lead time on request, for interior and exterior walls.

Editions & Provenance

Sculptural works are produced in numbered, limited editions, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, a material provenance document, and the artist’s statement about the specific piece. Where a work uses reclaimed rope, its provenance records the beach, the season, and the origin of the material — so the finished piece carries a documented history of the coast it came from. For trade and hospitality orders, this same documentation scales across a full run: every unit in a multiple-piece commission is individually certified and numbered, giving procurement a complete, auditable record of the set. Singular commissions are the exception: each is made once, for one client, and never reproduced — its certificate records that singularity rather than an edition number.
